James Waller (Editorial Director/Writer) has 20 years of experience as a journalist, technical writer, copy writer, editor, and publicist. His byline has appeared on stories in a wide range of publications, including lifestyle, writing, and financial magazines. He has ghostwritten more than 100 articles published in building-industry design and trade magazines. He is the author of four books packaged by Thumb Print: Moviegoer's Journal, The Well-Bred Dog, and The Well-Bred Cat, and Drinkology: The Art and Science of the Cocktail. Books edited by him include the National Writers Union Freelance Writers' Guide and three recent books on school design published by Learning Publications, Inc. His publishing-industry clients have included Chanticleer Press, Oxford University Press, St. Martin’s Press, Simon & Schuster, Stewart Tabori & Chang, Twayne Publishers, and Viking/Penguin. He presently teaches writing at Polytechnic University, Brooklyn.
